I'm Mike Davis — founder, fractional CMO, brand strategist, and self-appointed barista here at ThreadMark.

After two decades in creative and marketing leadership — building brands, leading teams, and helping companies figure out what they're actually trying to say — I started ThreadMark to do that work fractionally.

Most companies at a certain stage have people who can execute. What they often don't have is someone to lead — someone who knows the business, knows the market, and owns the strategic vision. I've been that person for a long time. ThreadMark is how I bring it to organizations that need that level of thinking without the full-time hire.

I've built brand platforms from scratch, revived ones that lost their way, led go-to-market strategy for scaling teams, and helped leaders finally articulate the thing they'd been trying to say for years. I've run creative departments, managed agency partners, and sat at the table where the real decisions get made.

Technically I'm a team of one — but I've got a trusted circle of writers, designers, developers, and strategists who come alongside me when the work calls for it. You get the same strategic brain, high standards, and well-timed jokes regardless of scope.

  • I live in Atlanta with two kids, a godsend of a wife, a perfectly reasonable amount of cats (3), and at least three projects in motion at any time.
